Laura is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who obtained her B.S. in Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics from Cornell University. Laura then completed a 1300-hour dietetic internship through Queens College with rotations at Harlem Hospital, St. John’s University athletic facility and private practice offices.
Laura provides people with the tools they need to meet their nutrition and health related goals. Laura understands the fast-paced New York City lifestyle and how it can be detrimental to one’s health. However, with proper education and guidance, Laura will teach you how to optimize your nutrition and overcome feelings of chronic fatigue, low energy, and body dissatisfaction. Laura believes it's important to use a holistic approach which focuses not only on physical health but also lifestyle habits, mental health, and personal goals.
Laura is well versed in providing medical nutrition therapy and can customize nutrition plans for those living with cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and hormonal issues (PCOS), gastrointestinal distress/disorders (IBS, Celiac Disease, etc), vegan/vegetarians restrictions and more.
She knows that there is no one-size-fits all approach and fad diets don’t bring sustainable results. When working with Laura you will develop lifelong strategies that leave you feeling healthier, more confident and more productive in your life.
