Refreshing Fauxjito
Total: 5 minutes
Ingredients
Handful of fresh mint leaves, washed
1 bottle unsweetened club soda/sparkling water/seltzer
1 teaspoon honey/brown sugar or more to taste
Juice from 1/2 lime, plus slices for serving
Ice
Method
Muddle the mint leaves in a tall serving glass with a pestle, or the back of a wooden spoon. This releases the oils in the mint leaves, making them even more flavorful!
Mix honey/sugar with a splash of boiling water until dissolved.
Add honey/sugar and lime juice to the glass, then top with your sparkling drink and lots of ice.
Add a slice of lime and a couple of sprigs of fresh mint leaves for serving!
