Very Berry Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are one of the best breakfast recipes for anyone who's on the go, or just super lazy in the morning (no shame!). It's ready to go in minutes, just grab and go!

Why are oats so raved about as a breakfast food? Well, it's because they have tons of nutrients, and they keep you full! They're packed with fiber, which means it'll get things moving, if you know what I mean! Oats are also a great vessel for any flavors you want to add - nut butters, sweetener, fruits, cacao powder, chocolate chips - you name it, it'll taste good!

Oats are known to be beneficial for controlling blood sugar levels, making them great for people with diabetes or are at risk for diabetes. Oats can even reduce the risk for heart disease and stroke. They also contain a fiber called beta-glucan. This is beneficial for lowering cholesterol levels, and supporting the immune system.

If that wasn't enough fiber for you, the chia seeds in here are packed full of fiber! As well as that, they're full of omega-3 fatty acids, which have a number of health benefits, including reducing the risk of heart disease, kidney disease and colon cancer. They also help with inflammation, and can help manage symptoms of PCOS. Chia seeds are also full of amino acids, antioxidants and flavonoids. They also have lots of potassium, calcium and phosphorus, which are necessary for bone health.

Flaxseed is one of the world's oldest superfoods! They have an incredible amount of health benefits, which is why they're great to add into these oats. They boost heart health and control inflammation levels, and they reduce the risk of cancer because of their antioxidant properties. They're also full of fiber, which is great for digestive health. They're also pretty great for our overall health, because they're packed with a number of different vitamins and minerals.

Using dark chocolate or cacao nibs is great because you can satisfy a chocolate craving while getting some health benefits! They contain flavonoids which are important for brain function and blood flow. They are also full of antioxidants!
